I’m Ana Caragea, your host for this space and an introvert at heart.

I’m also a trained professional coach and the founder of Strategic Discovery, a boutique coaching practice that I’ve set up 6 years ago.

Working with over 140 clients from different fields and industries, I’ve noticed similarities in their thinking, their behaviour, their fears and struggles. About 1 year ago one of my friends suggested creating a podcast together. After a few days of consideration, this current podcast idea came to my mind and of course, it made sense to reach out to my network and past clients to help you find out the realities in their careers.

But you see, public speaking and networking didn’t come naturally to me. Heck, not even being on camera or recording my voice did! But now it doesn’t matter.

Over the last 6 years, I’ve taken smaller steps that have expanded my comfort zone. I’m not the girl I was when I started my first job, that’s for sure. I’ve worked as a flight attendant for 8 years before coaching, and that really stretched my comfort zone when it came to interacting with different people, nationalities, ages, backgrounds!

What I know at this moment is that this podcast is a passion project. I wish I had this resource when I was starting out my coaching career. Back then I didn’t know how to ask for help and I didn’t have many of the needed skills.

If there’s one thing I’d like you to take away from these episodes is that even the people in their 60s sometimes don’t have things figured out. So if you’re at the stage of researching your next career move, you’ve come at the right place.
